Book Description:

One Secret. Multiple Casualties.

Everything Melody Callahan has ever been told about her past is a lie. Her father lied. Her husband lied. But like all secrets…they come out. Not only is her mother, Aviela, alive but she won’t stop until she tears down everything Liam and Melody have spent the past year building.

With a new target on their back and the media now focused on their family as the Presidential election approaches, Liam and Melody must fight on two battlefronts. Melody is torn between being in love with Liam and wanting to kill him for lying to her. Being in love and showing love are two different things in her world. Liam wants to do anything to protect his family even if that means hurting the people he loves.

Family is everything… but what happens when they’re out for your blood? Everything they have been through is nothing compared to what is coming…

Giselle’s Review:

The Untouchables is the sequel to the incredible novel, Ruthless People, and all I can say is that it lived up to the expectation, if not surpassed it. The Ruthless People series is one that I would recommend to absolutely everyone! I LOVE this series and I am in desperate need of the next novel in the series, American Savages.

The story of mafia bosses Liam and Melody continue in The Untouchables with more action, suspense, romance, and drama then before. This is a book about bad people doing f***ed up things, and yeah the story might not be for everyone, but its fiction and its amazing fiction at that.

This story will consume you entirely with its angst and plot. The tensions are always high at one point or another in this novel, and the twists and turns are unforgettable.

The characters are complex, unique, and entertaining as hell. This series is definitely ‘one for the books.

Silvana’s Review:

I have been drooling for this book. More than drooling, craving it. A lot. I fell in love with Ruthless People; I needed a drink after. It’s one of those books that you never get tired of reading; there’s action, frigging passionate love and characters that you want to hug and kiss and treat them with cupcakes.

The Untouchables started off so cool and so pretty exciting. It leads up to “ OH MY GOD PLEASE NO” climax and ends with me just wanting more as always. My heart, my soul needs American Savages.

I adore Liam and Mel’s relationship. They have grown so much from the very first time they saw each other. And this book is filled with everything fluffy and A LOT OF ANGRY SEX. /whispers/ yes angry sex. I love JJ’s writing and I feel so happy after reading chapter after chapter. Mel’s inner monologues, damn, she’s so badass and I wish the best for her.

Liam is just so swoony and I get so happy tears heart eyes when he appears. The Untouchables draws another picture of these two. Ruthless People was the introduction to this family, to these two mafia bosses. Now in The Untouchable they are growing and developing and they are getting greater with each book.

I wanted to hit Olivia on the head, I still want to. Seriously, that girl is not my favorite, not even close. Like I didn’t really care for her in RP but in TU, IT’S NOT OKAY. SHE DIDN’T GROW ON ME. I AM VERY UGH. Please make something happen to her in AS. /sil out

Declan and Caroline have become close to my heart. I am so happy they got pass their problems and seeing them now makes my heart warm and soft and /they are just so cute and sexy as hell. I’m so [spoilers] of what happened. Please give me book 3!
