Book Description:

Regret . . . she’s a snarky little bitch.

I’ve tried several times to regret the events that took place on June 5, 2008, but for the life of me, I can’t. I’d never regret the pain, the suffering, or the heartache because it ultimately led me to the place I am now. And I can’t regret the place I am now. What I still can’t figure out is this: how is it possible that the single worst day of my life inadvertently became the very best day?

Five years ago my life was irrevocably changed.

Seventeen minutes was all it took—
to lose my best friend…
to lose the love of my life…

Seventeen minutes was all it took for the seeds of hope—the seeds of my future—to be planted in the worst possible way.

My name is Harley Thompson, and this is my story.

Silvana’s Review:

I was super excited to get to this book. I finished all of the books I was currently reading and finally I started Where We Belong. I was very pleased of how it started. The prologue really grabs you by the heart and doesn’t let you go. The whole book is like that, I assure you.

Where We Belong is told from Harley and Ty’s POV. And I found it awesome it was told from dual POV, because if it was only told from Harley’s, the story wouldn’t have had the same feeling. We needed to know both of their thoughts. If we wouldn’t have got Ty’s, you wouldn’t know why he did all of the things he did. Which leads me to this: I got a little annoyed with him when some scenes happened. Ty was a drool-dropping kind of guy, yep. He made me heart quicken so many times, but he made horrible mistakes and I thought he should have begged. Begged. For her forgiveness. But Harley also made some mistakes. They are imperfect and broken. Together they actually work. They form this perfection between them that Levi didn’t feel when he was with her and Harley never felt when she was with him. Only Ty could make Harley feel the so-many emotions she felt throughout the novel.

Of course when they got together I was squealing so hard and my smile was so big. The fluff moments were too-die for. *cough* The hot scenes were “Read with a fan right on your face or else you will melt” kind of scenes. I loved them.

But you know what I loved more? YES: LEVI AND QUINN. The secondary characters were my favorite favorite ever. I just want each of them to have their own story. I felt so happy whenever they appeared. Levi was so perfect I could cry. And Quinny was the queen of the story. Whenever she appeared, she stole scenes. She truly did.

K.L. Grayson’s debut novel is the one you should be reading right now! I was very happy with how the novel concluded and definitely can’t wait for Levi’s book! You can see me shouting to the winds and doing rain dances so he gets his happily ever after. *inserts me doing the rain dance*
