Thrive by Krista & Becca Ritchie

Thrive Official CoverBook description:

Two years will change them forever.

When rumors spread like wildfire—like having three-ways with her boyfriend’s rock climbing brother—Lily Calloway spirals into a dark place. Her bedroom. Loren Hale is more confident and determined to keep their sex life private, even from their friends, and he helps Lily in the only way he knows how. But how much love is too much?

Their lives are filmed, watched, and criticized. And through it all, Lily and Loren have to face enemies they never thought they’d see, demons they don’t know if they should bury, and setbacks they didn’t think they’d meet. Not this soon.

And one rumor could be too much for them to handle. It will test their greatest limitations, and if they don’t hold onto each other, someone is going to drown.

A full-length New Adult Romance that bridges the gap between the second and third books. Thrive must be read before Addicted After All if you have not read the Calloway Sisters spin-off.

Giselle’s Review:

The Addicted series by Krista and Becca Ritchie continues to be one of my favorite series of all time, and Thrive managed to somehow make my love for this series, well, thrive.

I could not rave about this series enough, actually maybe I could…well I’m gonna try anyways. The Addicted series as a whole is entertaining, unique, sexy, romantic, hilarious and so much more. This series will have your heart-pounding and your eyes watering (both with happy and sad tears). You will literally be laughing out loud with this series because all the relationships within this book can only be described as hilariously perfect.

Thrive is the continuation of main characters Lily and Lo’s story. The first three books in their series are Addicted to You, Ricochet, and Addicted for Now. I ADORED the first three books in The Addicted series but Thrive definitely takes the chocolate cake as my favorite Lily and Lo book!

The Addicted/Calloway Sisters series is 100% addicting! It has this unique quality you don’t see in a lot of New Adult books and the plot line and style of writing is completely different from the NA romance books out today.

Reading this series can be compared to watching your favorite show on Netflix. It’s so entertaining you can watch episode and episode for hours on end, and never get tired because every line and every turn just draws you in more than the last.

If I could pick one series, out of the probably hundreds I have read, to be optioned as a TV series or movie series, I would without a doubt pick THE ADDICTED SERIES! While reading Thrive the thought “This series has to be on the big screen, medium screen, little screen, whatever!” went through my head so many times I was one step away from calling Hollywood and finding someone to make it happen.

Well if you are not yet convinced this series is a MUST MUST READ yet. I’ll make a short little list of why you should read this series:

1) At least one, if not all three, of the guys will have you saying

8523530

2) The humor in this book will have you literally doing this: #Coballoway 😉

8256373

3) When you read one of the steamy scenes, well…

830494

4) The romance in this book (oh and did I mention the extremely SEXY-OVER-SIX-FEET-MALES) will definitely have you

706813

So in conclusion, Krista and Beca Ritchie  pretty much

  1. Hey, Giselle! I looooove your review and 100% agree. Though one thing that I’m slightly scared about is that what if it does end up on some sort of screen and doesn’t live up to our expectations? I want this to happen so hard, but shows and movies may either be a hit or miss. I don’t even want to know what I’d do if Connor on screen didn’t live up to everything I know him to be. In my head that is lol. And yes!!! This series is too darn addictive. And for sure, Coballoway moments are hilarious! I’ve become really good at biting my lip so hard that my LOL moments don’t happen in public 😀 AND THE GIFS, GISELLE. THE. GIFS. (ELIJAH!) Me loves. Wonderful, gorgeous review, lovely!

    1. Thank you so much!! And yeah you’re right but I’d like to think that all those beautiful models we’ve casted as the gang in pics are also great actors and can play their roles to the T. LOL, wishful thinking?
Ugh I LOVE Vampire Diaries <3
