Book Description:

Since her sister’s death, twenty-year-old Paisley Donovan, who shares her sister’s heart condition, is treated like delicate glass by her parents. But nothing will stop her from completing her Bucket List—even if it kills her. And it almost does, until Jagger Bateman pulls her from the ocean and breathes more than air into her lungs—he sets her soul on fire.

Jagger is enrolled in the country’s toughest flight school. He’s wickedly hot, reckless, and perfect for a girl looking to live life to the fullest. Except that Paisley is the commanding general’s daughter, and her boyfriend is Jagger’s biggest rival. Now Paisley must decide just how much to risk for a guy who makes her heart pound a little too hard.

They’re flying through dangerous territory—and one wrong move could make them crash and burn…

Giselle’s Review:

I think I’m in danger of passing out from all the swooning this book has put me through.

Eyes Turned Skyward completely consumed me. My mind won’t stop spinning with thoughts of Paisley, Jagger, Josh, Grayson and Morgan. This entire novel is one that I will not forget about any time soon.

Paisley is a petite but incredibly fierce heroine and Jagger, who looks like the “reckless bad boy”, is just soo much more. In the end I ended up getting much more, and feeling so much more, for these characters than I would have ever expected to. The relationship between these two was flawless (well not really, there were some minor bumps but you get what I’m trying to say) and it had my heart fluttering like a…well, like a little bird. 😉

I loved that we get to see some more of Josh and Ember and I definitely feel a re-read of Full Measures coming on soon.

I have no idea how Rebecca did it but she managed to shock me with all the little twists and turns in this novel and she honestly “kept me on my toes” the entire time I was reading.

Eyes Turned Skyward was like an amazing, unexpected surprise because there were so many little things that well… took me by surprise; like an amazing gift you had no idea was coming. Eyes Turned Skyward took my mind and emotions on an unforgettable journey and although I’m a little late in the game, I’m so so happy I  got the chance to read it.
