Talk about bitter-SWEET!! So I might still in denial that this Beautiful series is over (hence my super-late-in-the-game review) but, as I find myself saying on a weekly basis, better late than never. This group of friends that Christina and Lauren have created is everything I want in life and more– like how do I attain this perfect friend group when I’m older? I mean my friends now are pretty great but… ANYWAYS.
BEAUTIFUL is the story of Pippa and Jensen and if you’ve read the other books in this series (which you most definitely should) you would already know Jensen from Beautiful Player and Pippa from Beautiful Secret. In BEAUTIFUL, worlds collide and everyone is together and it is truly beautiful!! *cue the never-ending heart eyes*
Now, I don’t want to give anything away, but here’s a bit of what I think you should know before diving into BEAUTIFUL (i.e. here is the list of things I loved about this novel).
Pippa and Jensen are the definition of opposites attracting (something I loved every second of). Pippa is eccentric, wild, and just wants to experience life to the fullest. Basically, she was my #1 girl crush. Jensen is a total workaholic and wouldn’t recognize fun if it was under his nose, but he wasn’t always like this.
The chemistry Pippa shared with Jensen was OFF-THE-CHARTS and I think they’re dissimilar personalities had to do with it. They’re weren’t total opposites…but yeah, they also kinda were. It’s hard to describe, but I can guaranteed their story is one you won’t regret picking up. Like all the books in this series, it is FUN, hilarious, full of love and steamy scenes, and unputdownable!
